FINALLY!!!!!

Do we believe it?  Maybe.

Will it actually happen? We'll wait and see.

Can we go out and spend a little money yet?  NOT!!

Ok, it looks like the closing on our house in Milwaukee is FINALLY going to happen...so we hear. Yes, it's scheduled for 9:30 on Friday. Gee, it seems like those two months since the original date for closing just zoomed on by. Let's see, the date...I believe, was changed 5-6 times. One bank; the 2nd (Bank of America) sat on the paperwork close to a month and then pulled out of Wisconsin all together. The third bank managed to get it all in order within 5 days. Gee.....no wonder Bank of America has left Wisconsin; they probably were asked to leave. It's been a long, hard fight and that was AFTER it took us two years of having it on the market BEFORE we even got an offer.

So, hopefully....after Friday we can breath a sigh of relief. That will make living in Tennessee even sweeter because we REALLY like it here. It is NOW our home. We absolutely consider it now our 'home' and are so very glad we made the move. Looking back, I guess you can say that good things sometimes take a little longer to be achieved. But, I guess that's what makes them so special. That's what I'll keep telling myself whenever I look back and think of the nightmare of being in the 'housing market' for the last two years.

I wish my sister better luck in selling their house in Slinger, Wisconsin and a smoother process. They are hoping to retire to Georgia.  Good luck Chris and Jim!!
