Yeah, we had some nasty weather down here in Tennessee, but we were very lucky. We got some wind and heavy rain but no hail or tornado activity. These pictures were taken at around 4:00 p.m. when it's usually pretty light outside so you can tell how dark those rolling clouds were....pretty scary to look at!
We don't have a basement so if we need to take cover, we need to go into our laundry room which is an inside room like they suggest. So, I was busy stocking it with water, a radio, candles, blankets, pillows, my purse, laptop and the Nook....hey, gotta save the toys...right? Oh, and some Peanut Butter M&M's. And, while I did all that stocking of the laundry room, I ate an entire box of Milk Duds. Let's just say I was a little nervous about what could happen.
But, like I said. We were lucky. Our thoughts and prayers go out to those who weren't.
