I did it......yes, I did!!! I reached my goal of losing 15 lbs. Not only am I in my skinny jeans and smaller tops, my hip is feeling so much better. It was giving me some trouble and I thought that maybe if I dropped some of the weight I had put on, it might help and it did!! I don't know how many times I have passed up the Peanut Butter M&Ms in the store and sighed knowing that I can't have them in the house any more....well, maybe the 'snack' size. Anyhow, I feel lighter on my feet and will keep watching my diet and who knows.....maybe I'll lose a few more pounds.
Congratulations Barb, way to go! I just can't seem to get back into it. Will see once we are settled in more.
ReplyDeleteI can understand that. It took me a while too. First, there's the excitement of moving (and maybe stress)Then your whole daily schedule that you had in Wisconsin has changed....I'm still trying to get used to the hour difference. Then I found myself nibbling on what the kids may have left on their plates. One day I heard Madison say to Trinity "Maybe Grandma will eat it." I also missed walking around our blocks back in our old neighborhood, but we found a nice slight incline hill near us and that gives a nice workout. It's all so personal and you will KNOW when the time is right. My time was that first photo of me in the garden getup and my hip had a lot to do with it too. But, you will get there when the time is right for you. Thanks for the congrats!!!
