Garden Update

When we lived in Milwaukee, Grandpa some lilies planted on the one front corner of our house where our neighbors, Bill and Cheryl could enjoy them. Well, he's growing them here too; in front of his shed. We weren't sure what colors we were getting when we ordered the bulbs, but they certainly turned out pretty, didn't they?

This is Grandpa's new bird bath. Now, this isn't just any ordinary bird bath. See the ripples in the water? That little thingy in the middle (operated by batteries) shakes and causes the water to move. It's like our birds have their own 'water park'.

This is his garden.....or maybe we should call it his 'tomato patch'. Believe it or not, that is four tomato plants in this small space along with green beans, green peppers, cucumbers, pumpkins and watermelons. Needless to say, tomatoes LOVE the Tennessee hot weather! We have already eaten some green beans and radishes and I can't wait for the first cucumber.
