Several months ago, we had a terrible storm that took down our tree and turned our garden into a disaster area. Everything that was trellised up at the time came tumbling down and could not be raised back up so Grandpa just left it. His garden may have looked like heck but believe it or not, it kept producing tomatoes, cucumbers AND........
A nice size watermelon! While Grandpa was checking through the mess the other day for some tomatoes for our supper salad, he found it hiding out waaaaaaay underneath all the other stuff.
Who says Grandpa doesn't have a Green Thumb!!
