My Sewing Pants

I don't know if you can tell what this is a photo of so let me enlighten you.....those are my two legs and those are my sewing pants. I call them my 'sewing pants' because I wear them everytime I sew. Actually, you probably would find me in these if you were to stop by at any time. That's because they are the most comfortable pants I have for hanging around the house in, but let's get back to why I wear them when I sew. I think it's quite obvious. Look at the threads! If the threads are stuck to the pants, they ain't on the floor, right? These pants were MADE to be a sewer's dream. It's like wearing a lint remover on your legs but more fashionable. It cuts down on the vacumming of the carpeting and hey, I'm all for eliminating a little house cleaning. They are an old, old pair of yoga pants that I invested in many years ago when I was turning my body into a pretzel in yoga class.....well, back when I COULD turn it into a pretzel. I still remember doing "Downward Dog" in these soft, valour pants. Oh, and that is one of the poses I have taught my two oldest granddaughters to do to relax; Madison especially likes it, thank goodness because that kid could use a little relaxing!!

As long as I'm at the sewing machine quilting, I'll be in my 'thread-catcher' pants and being comfy.

P.S. I know it's sort of an odd picture but I took the picture and I didn't want to take them off first. It looks like my legs HUGE but they aren't.....no, really, they aren't.
