My Baseball Caps!!
Yes, my caps. I have been collecting baseball caps for years but never really wore them....until we moved to Tennessee. That's because down here, everyone dresses so casual and baseball hats are part of the usual attire; for men or women. I love it because say I'm going to WalMart or somewhere and my hair is a little out of control, throw on a cap! You fit right in. And as you can see, I have a cap for basically any occassion or for any statement that I like to make.
Just Call Me Grandma - This one I purchased from St. Mary's Hospital in Milwaukee when Trinity (our first grandchild) was born.
Green Bay Packers - I have two of these; one with the team colors and another which is pink (to promote breast cancer awareness) with the big "G" on it.
Tennessee Vols - Again, two of these for the same reasons as the Packer caps.
Bass Pro Shop - Tan on top row, way on right. I got this hat when I got my fishing license because ya just cannot go fishing without a hat!
Reinhart Law Firm - Worked for them as a legal secretary for about three years but was very glad to leave. I then retired.
Breast Cancer - Bottom row, left. Another Brest Cancer Awareness cap. Such a pretty blue color with the pink ribbon. I like to wear breast cancer hats because I have a sister who is a breast cancer survivor and the cause is very close to my heart.
Hat from Mexico Vacation - Bottom row, right. I think it has a sun on it. It caught my eye while on vacation and if you are going to bring anything back from a vacation as a souvenier a cap is a good thing to get.
I know I have more packed away....like a Milwaukee Brewers one but as I write this, I have no idea in which box in which closet they may be.
You will notice that many of my hats are tan or beige....that's because it's a color that goes with most anything you are wearing. And, no....I don't have one with glitter or sparkles for dress up. Even though they do dress more casual down here, when I do dress up for a special occasion, my caps stay home.
Afterall, I do have a little class!
