In the cabin........

Releasing a Bird
Trinity joined 4H during her year in the 4th grade and it looks like she may have found her 'nitch' in the realm of extracurricular clubs and activities that are offered to kids out there to keep them busy making new friends and learning about the world and nature that surrounds them. These pictures are from her first camping experience; an overnight stay in a cabin with other kids of different ages. Actually, she was one of the younger ones there but that didn't bother Trinity....she loved it!
I can see this only the beginning if Trinity's involvement in 4H. She is already talking about a week-long camp next year. It makes me happy because I remember how much fun I had being a Girl Scout growing up and know how much I got out of it.
Note: When she first started 4H she had a sewing activity where she had to learn the basics like threading the needle, stitching and sewing on a button. I had the privilege of helping her through that lesson. That led to her hand sewing squares into a small quilt which is a 'work in progress'.
Actually, I think Trinity belonging to 4H is going to be a great experience for the entire family!
