Decorating for Christmas (Inside)

This is the pile of Christmas boxes we moved to Tennessee with...well, not the one way on the left...that's Shelly's.  That's from cleaing out her car and stuff for next year's rummage sale.

Corner of our livingroom......

Another angle of the livingroom....and a peak at our new furniture.

Grandpa's new rocker which actually gets used more by Shelly when she rocks Lexi with her bedtime bottle.

This is our dining area off the kitchen. We brought this entertainment center along thinking it might come in handy....and it did!  Until I find a hutch I really like, it will do just fine. Hanging on the wall are photos of the grandkids. You can't go into any room of the house without running into photos of the grandkids!

Another corner of our dining area. I LOVE this piece of furniture. It belongs to Shelly and she has had it for a long time.  Note....more photos (smaller and black and white) of the kids on the wall. I have plans of loading this down with plants since it is next to the patio door with the morning sun.

Our kitchen (dining table). Trying to grow a Christmas Amarylis so wish me luck! If it blooms, you'll see in on my blog.

Well, that gives ya sort of a idea of our holiday decorations. Since these photos were taken, many more have been added. We've hung the stockings on the mantle which is so nice since we never had a fireplace before. There are now gifts under the tree and the one end of our formal dining area was turned into "Wrapping Central" with  boxes, paper, ribbon, name tags, making it nice not to have this important part of Christmas being done all over the house.

I don't think I want the Christmas season to be over. The house looks so festive and colorful all decked out sooooooo, we'll enjoy it while we can!!
