Dollywood Parade

We had a great time. The weather was beautiful and not so darn hot. We set up our seats at the end of the parade route and then went and had something to eat at the Happy Days Cafe which was quite interesting with the menu items named after characters on the T.V. show. I had the Cunningham Club.

We headed back to our chairs and met Shelly. She needed to be in that area to pick up the girls after the parade was over. We had a great time just 'people watching'. They had one side of the Parkway blocked off for the parade and the watchers lined up on both sides. I was really impressed by the the way the parade was organized and went off without a hitch. Just to let you know how big it was, the Boys and Girls Club float was number 158 and they were not the last!
