Remember that mailbox that jumped out and hit my car while I was backing out? Well, it's got some new accessories on top. As you can see, turtles is the theme for ours. The smaller one is solar powered and lights up at night really bright. The planter wooded Grandpa won at the Schmidt auction at the reunion in April. It is handcrafted by this brother, Stanley, who has a woodworking business. The bidding for this item got sort of heated since he was bidding against Becky (daughter #2) but he didn't care....he WANTED this planter. Obviously, once he saw it, he had the perfect spot in mind for it. I don't remember how much it cost but it didn't come cheap!
