Yeah, yeah.....I know so we got, I don't know....maybe 4-5" of snow. But, let me tell you....here in Tennessee, it's a BLIZZARD!! Schools closed, cars sliding off roads, Shelly couldn't get home from work that night because she couldn't get up either road to our private road. She managed to make it to Food City to get Lexi (who was not a happy camper in the back seat) some milk and diapers and headed over to Nick's shop which is on more level ground. However, like us.....they had no power so they eventually made it over to Nick's folk's house where they did.
Trinity and Madison were safe and sound over in Pigeon Forge.
As for us.....like I said, we had no power but we do have a fire place; gas powered. So Grandpa cranked it up.
At 8:00 I got bored so headed to bed with my book and reading light and fell asleep. Grandpa crashed on the couch to keep an eye on the fire. He actually had to get up and turn it down....it actually got up to 80 degrees in the livingroom. Nice!!
Well, that's the end of Chapter 1 of my blizzard saga. Next up.....Fog and Lexi discovers snow.
