Dear God,

 

Thank you for helping Sparkles send this card to us. I've been thinking about Sparkles a lot and it was such a heartwarming surprise to get her message from heaven. I knew she would be ok with all her brothers and sisters to run and play with although it is still very hard to realize that she is gone from our home. I see her empty food dish......



 

and think of her snacking away in heaven. With three kids (including a toddler) in this house, there is always food and crumbs being dropped throughout the house, especially under the kitchen table after dinner. But with Sparkles around, I never had to worry about sweeping them up; she took care of that for me. Snickers isn't a 'garbage hound' like Sparkles was as you can see by these photos of food left on the floor after dinner since Sparkles left us......

 

 

 

that Sparkles is being greatly missed. Sure, it might be a pea and green bean but Sparkles would have snatched those up the minute they hit the floor!

 

It also feels strange cooking in the kitchen without tripping over Sparkles who was forever licking the floor....what she was licking up, I never knew but she was always underfoot. What I wouldn't give for her being there now just once more. So, God, when you or your angels start cooking, look down and I'm sure you will have Sparkles as your kitchen companion.

 

Please give her a hug and kiss for me and tell her that Grandpa misses her soooooooo much! But, we know she is keeping watch over us from heaven and that helps a lot.
