Between having the flu and Grandpa's illness, I got really behind in my quilting class. I was busy trying to hold onto my sanity so quilting wasn't exactly the most important thing on my mind for a few weeks. And, a few weeks of missing class meant getting at least 4 blocks behind. So, I decided to drop out of the class instead of making me nuts trying to catch up. Pappy's repeats it's classes so the next time they are teaching this class, the teacher said I can come on back at no charge and continue on. And, I would have a head start on everyone else. I may just do that.
However, I am trying to work on a quilt for my mom right now. She likes to sit in her recliner and watch T.V. so she needs a nice cozy lap quilt.
I will post photos when I start putting it together.
P.S. I would like to add here that three of my friends from my quilt club showed up at my door while Grandpa was in the hospital with a whole dinner!!! Did I ever say how much I LOVE it down here in Tennessee; and mostly the people!! Thank you Laura, Robin and Connie!
