Live and Learn

Last year was Grandpa's first year of planing his garden. He had two squares.....well, he jammed a little too much into thos two squares and then a storm hit and the wind blew everything over and created a mess. So..........

This year he has expanded his garden to six boxes with sturdier trellis's which are also anchored into the grown to hold everything up...hopefully. There are also stepping stones between the sections of boxes.

Tomatoe Towers

Angle trellis to grow something that needs to grow up, like cucumbers, beans or peas but leaving space under for something smaller like radishes. The box to the right of this one has strawberries planted.

Shorter towers for green peppers; also anchored into the ground.

Hopefully this year everything will stay standing when the storms blow in and the new trellis setup will keep plants up and off the ground.

Happy Gardening!!
