This is my cell phone........
Ok, have you stopped laughing yet...good. I know it's outdated and I could get a new one but I'm sort of attached to it, know how to operate it and am too lazy to learn how to use a new one. My daughters both have cell phones that do everything....or should I ask "What don't they do?" Shelly's can actually take a person's temperature. Yes folks, that is how far cell phones have come. Too bad they can't vacuum, cook or do laundry.....or do some actually do that?
My problem is not how old it is or the limited things you can do on it. My problem is I keep losing it! Let's say 'misplace', shall we....that sounds better. And, I mean in the house. We moved from a really small house in Milwaukee to a larger one here in Tennessee which means more places to lay it down and walk away. And then I can never remember where I put it. I would say at least 3-4 times a week I lose my cell phone (sometimes twice a day). Grandpa has to call me so I can find it. Most of my 'missed' calls I have saved are from him in his attempt to help me find my phone. It's sometimes the bain of my existence and I wonder if I need one at all. When I leave it at home, I don't worry. I mean, what did people do BEFORE cell phones? We had answering machines and 'if it was important, they will call back' was the mantra.
I don't know....sure I could get an updated phone but why? I don't believe in texting, I have my computer for getting on line and if I need my temperature taken, I'll do it the old fashion way. And, if Lexi get's her hands on it (she seems to find it faster than me) and drops it in the toilet, I'm not out a gazillion bucks to get a new one.
Besides, I would still keep losing track of it!
